Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Kensington is an systemic Catholic school for girls from Year 7 through to Year 12. As an educational community, we foster a culture of learning where students develop confident, creative and thinking skills in order to be caring, responsible members of the global society. The College was founded in 1897 by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, in the tradition of Fr Jules Chevalier. The College strives to be A Community of the Heart Living and Learning Together. Our vision is to develop students to become confident, independent learners. We endeavour to imbue our students with a commitment to service in the wider community. The College offers opportunities for personal development through a broad range of courses and extra-curricular activities. OLSH has a broad and responsive curriculum, which encourages students to achieve at the highest level in a full range of subjects. High-achieving students are accelerated in one or more courses and an extensive Gifted & Talented Program has been implemented. OLSH focuses on individual learning needs and provides all students with a support network to help with particular learning challenges. OLSH offers courses and scholarships in the Performing Arts. The College has a strong network of ex-students with many returning to the College to support the staff and students.
