Arthritis and disability

Published Literature

2014

Many people with arthritis experience disability and require support—both short-term and long-term—depending on the nature of their condition, the impact it has on them, and their personal circumstances. SPRC was commissioned by Arthritis Australia to research the lived experiences of people with arthritis. Eight hundred and nineteen participants contributed through a focus group, interviews and an online survey. The research describes how people are affected and what helps them to manage their condition, and also identifies what could be improved.
