This article seeks to evaluate the physical and psychosocial benefits of a long term physical activity program for adults with intellectual disability (ID). Physical benefits included a gradual increase in moderate to vigorous activity participation. Psychosocial benefits included meeting new people and gaining social acknowledgement.
